Tim O’Donoghue
Chief Executive Officer of the Riverwind Foundation
Tim O’Donoghue is the Principal of Riverwind LLC. He provides a diversity of training and technical assistance services for businesses and organizations that wish to incorporate economic, social, and environmental sustainability in their planning, operations, and staff training. These services include supporting The Long Run’s technical assistance and assessments of members.
As Chief Executive Officer of the Riverwind Foundation, he is leading the collaborative stakeholder sustainable community development efforts of Teton County, Wyoming through the Jackson Hole & Yellowstone Sustainable Destination Program. These efforts include leading Teton County’s participation as one of six destinations selected worldwide by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council to adopt the world’s leading sustainable tourism destination criteria. This program and Jackson Hole were selected by National Geographic as a Destination Leadership Finalists in the World Legacy Awards and by the Top 100 Sustainable Destinations.
He is the former Executive Director of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce where he led efforts to integrate and promote economic, environmental, and social values and priorities into the policy and practices of businesses. Tim’s professional nonprofit and private sector career includes program and project management in various other industries, including nuclear power, hazardous waste, space science and NASA programs, and health and wellness.
